In this role, you’ll take ownership of projects that support treatment plants, water supply systems, storage, pumping, and transmission infrastructure—from concept through construction.\nIf you enjoy leading teams, working directly with clients, and solving complex water system challenges, this is a high-impact role with real visibility and growth.\nResponsibilities Serve as Project Manager for drinking water and water infrastructure projects, guiding work through the full project lifecycle\nLead water/wastewater project delivery including planning, design, and construction administration\nManage scope, schedule, budget, and quality (QA/QC) across projects\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships with municipalities and agencies\nIdentify and pursue new project opportunities and business development efforts\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and project teams\nCoordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project success\nEnsure projects deliver high-quality, practical, and constructible solutions\nWhat Success Looks Like Strong client relationships that lead to repeat work and new opportunities\nProjects delivered on time, on budget, and with technical excellence\nA growing presence in the Lehi/Utah water & wastewater market\nA collaborative, high-performing team aligned around project success\nJob Requirements: Basic Bachelor’s degree in civil, chemical or environmental engineering or related field\nRegistration as a Professional Engineer in Utah or ability to obtain within 6 months\nExperience with water treatment design and project delivery\nProven ability to manage projects, clients, and teams simultaneously\nStrong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to clients\nExperience or interest in business development and client growth\nAll applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations\nPreferred 15+ years consulting experience for municipal water/wastewater systems\nProven client relationships\nPhysical Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain\nAbility to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time\nOccasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist\nOccasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight\nMay require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds\nAbility to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.\nMay be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear\nMay require occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations varying with workload\nMay be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town\nElevate Your Career with AE2S – Award-Winning Culture and Unmatched Benefits Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services (AE2S) is an award-winning, specialized civil/environmental engineering consulting firm that provides professional services and a unique brand of extreme client service.
