This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working with their hands, building and integrating complex systems, troubleshooting hardware, and supporting rapid prototyping efforts.\nThis is not a project management role. We are looking for engineers who enjoy solving technical problems, building reliable systems, and working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nResponsibilities\nAssemble, integrate, and test hardware systems and subsystems.\nInterpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system drawings to support hardware integration and troubleshooting.\nSupport system integration, verification, and functional testing activities.\nAssist with installation, configuration, and validation of hardware in laboratory and operational environments.\nTroubleshoot hardware, cabling, and system-level issues during development and testing.\nSupport engineering documentation including assembly procedures, test procedures, and configuration records.\nCollaborate with software, electrical, mechanical, and systems engineers to integrate complete mission systems.\nAssist with inventory, configuration management, and hardware tracking.\nParticipate in design reviews and technical discussions while providing feedback from hands-on integration efforts.\nSupport customer demonstrations, field testing, and occasional travel for system installations as required.\nContinuously improve assembly processes and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reliability.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nApproximately 2 years of professional engineering experience, including internships, co-ops, or laboratory experience involving hardware integration or system assembly.\nExperience assembling, integrating, or testing electronic or mechanical hardware systems.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system drawings.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nComfortable working with hand tools, laboratory equipment, and hardware integration tasks.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nSelf-motivated with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced engineering environment.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision is essential. Engineers are expected to take ownership of assigned tasks, drive work to completion, and proactively identify and resolve issues.\nStrong initiative is required.\nTeam members are expected to communicate progress, risks, blockers, and technical concerns without waiting to be asked.\nMust be comfortable engaging directly with software developers, system engineers, and technical leads to gather requirements, clarify expectations, and coordinate development activities.\nEngineers are expected to provide realistic schedule estimates, communicate status accurately, and raise concerns early when deadlines or technical objectives are at risk.\nPreferred Qualifications\nActive Secret or TS/SCI security clearance.\nExperience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community programs.\nFamiliarity with Linux-based systems or embedded hardware.\nExperience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, or power supplies.\nExposure to networking, RF systems, signal processing hardware, or ruggedized computing platforms.\nFamiliarity with Jira, Confluence, or other engineering collaboration tools.\nWhat We're Looking For\nThe ideal candidate enjoys building things.
