In this role, you will support our Asset Management and Underwriting teams by working closely with borrowers to address deferred maintenance, identify potential problem areas and review repair solutions for any deficiencies\nThis position requires up to 80% travel within the United States.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nPerform Property Inspections.\nPerforms quality control checks and data entry on incoming inspections reports to ensure compliance with investor and company requirements.\nManages inspection process from initiation to completion.\nWorks closely with Underwriting staff supporting required best practices requirements\nResolves scheduling and contact issues with the vendors as they arise.\nAssist with the distribution of inspection reports to Investors, Trustees, Borrowers, Master Servicers and other parties.\nMonitors vendor issues.\nSends deferred maintenance letters and responds to the borrowers as needed.\nSpecial projects and additional tasks as assigned.\nCore Competencies\nAbility to problem-solve and exercise independent judgement while displaying a high degree of initiative and accuracy.\nDemonstrated ability to organize and prioritize projects and complete multiple tasks on schedule.\nAbility to work productively under minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially EXCEL and Word.\nStrong work ethic.\nProactive team player able to work efficiently under stressful conditions.\nAbility to work effectively with colleagues at all levels across the organization.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, or other related fields preferred\nPreferred certified Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Inspector\nMBA (Mortgage Bankers Association) Inspection Certificate preferred\nAble to travel minimum of 80%\nSalary Range Language\nThe expected base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held.
