Terms of Employment• W2 Contract, 12 Months• Location: Hybrid Schedule at Carney’s Point, NJ (Tues, Wed and Thurs)OverviewA dynamic, hands-on Financial Executive committed to driving operational excellence, clear communication, and continuous improvement across the organization.This is a critical, high-visibility role where you will not only execute core financial processes but also act as a proactive business partner, providing insights that shape the company's future. You will have direct exposure to top management and be instrumental in installing financial best practices.What You'll DoReporting directly to the Financial Executive, this role is a blend of hands-on analysis, strategic planning, and process improvement:Financial Leadership & Analysis• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead and execute comprehensive annual budgeting cycles, ongoing forecasting, and variance analysis to monitor performance against strategic goals.• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional departments and top management to provide financial guidance, business analytics, and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making.• Financial Modeling & Reporting: Develop and maintain complex financial models (e.g., driver-based models, scenario planning) and prepare detailed, accurate financial reports for executive review.Operational Excellence & Best Practices• Process Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline financial workflows, enhance system utilization, and drive efficiency in reporting and analysis operations.• Standards & Compliance: Ensure the rigorous application of applicable financial standards, methods, processes, and business fundamentals specific to our industry (e.g., asset management, utility operations, customer service, etc.).Data Management & Technology• Utilize advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint to retrieve, transform, and analyze large datasets for business insight.• Leverage specialized business technologies (e.g., SAP Planning, Business Objects, Brio, EPS, CIS) to support financial modeling, forecasting, and data-driven analysis.What You'll Bring (Required Qualifications)o Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field AND 4-7 years of progressive, related business experience. OR, in lieu of a degree, 6-9 years of highly relevant business experience is required.• Comprehensive understanding of business fundamentals, performance metrics, and applicable standards/processes within the specific functional area supported by this position (e..g., asset management, electric or gas operations, customer service, transmission and substation, distribution system operations, regulatory and external affairs, transmission operations and planning).• Advanced proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project), specialized business technologies and applications (e.g., workforce management, project management, PassPort, Brio, CIS, EPS, Business Objects, SAP planning, business modeling, forecasting, voice response unit, automatic call distributors, work management, outage management) to retrieve and analyze data in support of business needs.________________________________________nTech is an equal opportunity employer.
