About the Opportunity:The Senior Software Engineer - Mobile role focuses on contributing to the mobile engineering teams responsible for developing and enhancing the Fanatics Sportsbook app. This position involves building features that improve customer experience and support the company’s growth in the sports betting market. The role requires problem-solving skills, adapting to evolving technologies, and delivering high-quality software across mobile platforms using Kotlin Multiplatform.3. Responsibilities:• Develop, test, document, and deploy software into production• Understand industry, product features, and roadmap• Implement new features from requirements to UI with guidance• Follow engineering principles, guidelines, and best practices• Collaborate with product, design, and internal teams on technology decisions• Participate in on-call rotation for urgent issue resolution• Escalate issues and seek guidance when necessary• Participate in code reviews and team planning discussions• Enhance software quality and customer experience• Learn about testability, operational excellence, and documentation practices• Contribute to a positive team culture• Travel occasionally for conferences and team activities4. Requirements:• 3 to 7 years of development experience• Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills• Willingness to learn Kotlin as the primary language• Comfortable with Kotlin Multiplatform business logic development• Experience with modern mobile UI frameworks (SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, or similar)• Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills• Initiative and ability to work independently• Logical reasoning and adaptability to changing requirements• Familiarity or willingness to learn Agile and SCRUM methodologies• Ability to work cross-functionally in an enterprise environment5.
