This is a long-term placement with a globally recognized specialty chemicals manufacturer.\n\nPay:$19–$22/hr\n\nLocation: Sealy, TX\n\nJob Type: Temp-to-Hire\n\nPrimary workplace language(s):English\n\nWork Environment: Manufacturing Plant / Factory\n\nResponsibilities\n\nOperate and monitor mixing equipment to blend chemical products per SOPs, using PLCs, flowmeters, and pressure gauges to maintain validated process parameters.\nDocument mixing processes with a high level of accuracy, including order of addition, mixing times, and designated set points.\nOperate packaging equipment and perform line changeovers and simple-to-moderate equipment adjustments.\nInspect finished packaged products to verify weight tolerances, appearance, DOT labeling, and batch identification numbers meet quality standards.\nCount and verify inventory of raw materials and packaging materials against the daily production schedule.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety policies and industrial housekeeping standards.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n\n1+ year of experience operating equipment in a chemical, manufacturing, or industrial production environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience operating PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)-controlled equipment.\nFamiliarity with flowmeters, pressure gauges, and manual valve operation.\nExperience performing line changeovers or basic mechanical troubleshooting on production equipment.\nBackground in specialty chemicals, coatings, adhesives, sealants, or similar process chemistry environments.\nExperience with DOT labeling requirements or quality inspection in a regulated manufacturing setting.\nAbility to accurately document production records, batch logs, or quality data.\nAbility to read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.\nAbility to communicate effectively in English.\nYou may be a great fit if you've held any of these titles: Technical Operator, Chemical Operator, Process Operator, Production Operator, Mixing Operator, Blending Operator, Packaging Operator, Manufacturing Technician, Plant Operator, Industrial Operator.\n\nPre-Employment Requirements\n\nSteel toe boots required (employee-provided).\nMust pass a pre-employment drug screen.\nMust pass a background check.\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify participating employer).\nMust be able to communicate effectively in English.\n\nBenefits\n\nWeekly pay.\nDirect deposit / Paycard.\nHealth and dental benefits available.\nEarn referral bonuses.\n\nAfter you apply, please check your email for a short screening questionnaire from us.
