We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced instructor to join our team.\nJob Summary: The BNATP Instructor is responsible for delivering comprehensive training and instruction to students enrolled in our Basic Nurse Assistant Training Program. The instructor will ensure that students gain the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to pass the state certification exam and excel in their roles as CNAs. This position involves teaching theoretical and practical components of the CNA curriculum, and providing guidance and support to students.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement lesson plans that align with state regulations and the program's curriculum.\nDeliver engaging and informative lectures on various topics related to nursing and patient care.\nProvide hands-on training in clinical skills such as patient hygiene, vital signs monitoring, mobility assistance, and other essential CNA duties.\nAssess students’ performance through quizzes, exams, practical demonstrations, and assignments.\nOffer constructive feedback and support to help students improve and succeed.\nMaintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades, and progress.\nEnsure that all training equipment and supplies are properly maintained and available for use.\nStay updated on the latest developments in nursing education and healthcare practices.\nAssist in the development and revision of the CNA program curriculum as needed.\nComply with all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to CNA training and certification.\nQualifications:\nCurrent and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience working as a CNA or in a related nursing role.\nTrain the Trainer Course Completion\nPrior teaching or training experience is preferred.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to engage and motivate students.\nProficiency in using technology and educational software for teaching purposes.\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills.\nCompassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success.\nWorking Conditions:\nThe BNATP Instructor will work in a classroom and clinical setting.\nMay require evening and weekend hours to accommodate student schedules.\nPhysical requirements include standing for extended periods, demonstrating nursing procedures, and assisting students with hands-on activities.\nApplication Process: Interested candidates should submit their resume, cover letter, and any relevant certifications to scheduler@axxesshs.com.
