The organization supports a broad range of federal clients and is committed to delivering secure, scalable solutions that improve government capabilities and public services.About the OpportunityThe Data Conversion Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying data migration solutions that transition legacy system data into Oracle Cloud ERP environments.This role plays a critical part in enterprise modernization initiatives by ensuring data is accurately mapped, cleansed, transformed, loaded, and validated throughout the conversion lifecycle. The position works closely with functional and technical teams across areas such as Financials and Supply Chain to develop reliable conversion processes and support successful mock conversions and production cutovers.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud or Oracle EBS data conversion, strong SQL and PL/SQL skills, and a solid understanding of relational databases, ETL processes, and enterprise data structures.Responsibilities• Collaborate with functional leads and subject matter experts to define data-mapping requirements, transformation rules, and conversion strategies across business domains, including Financials and Supply Chain.• Analyze legacy system data structures to identify data quality issues, cleansing requirements, dependencies, and transformation needs.• Develop detailed data-mapping specifications, conversion rules, technical designs, and supporting documentation.• Design and develop data conversion programs using SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Cloud tools, APIs, and automation technologies.• Develop scripts and supporting tools to facilitate data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading.• Prepare detailed conversion sequence plans, runbooks, and procedures for mock conversions and production cutover activities.• Execute data loads in test and production environments while monitoring results and resolving technical issues.• Troubleshoot conversion failures, data discrepancies, and integration issues throughout the migration process.• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure converted information is accurate, complete, and compliant with business requirements.• Coordinate with functional and technical teams during post-conversion validation and business acceptance activities.• Support multiple conversion cycles and incorporate lessons learned to improve subsequent migration activities.• Maintain clear technical documentation throughout the data conversion lifecycle.Requirements• Hands-on experience developing Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle EBS data conversion programs using relevant Oracle technologies.• Strong knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, data transformation, and ETL development.• Proficiency with SQL and PL/SQL and experience working with Oracle-based data environments.• Familiarity with financial and supply-chain data structures and Oracle staging templates.• Experience developing and executing data mappings, conversion rules, and data validation processes.• Experience supporting mock conversions, data validation cycles, and production cutovers.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex data issues.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with functional, technical, and business stakeholders.• Ability to manage multiple conversion activities and priorities in a complex enterprise environment.• Must be a U.S. citizen.Pay Range and Compensation Package• Compensation varies based on location, experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors.• In certain U.S. states and metropolitan areas, the salary range is approximately $100,200–$203,400 USD annually.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
