Medical Laboratory Technician Location: Ashland, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,830 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 5/25/2026 About the Position Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician Profession: MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) Specialty: Laboratory Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 10H Day, Evening Hours per Shift: 8-6:30p, 6:30-5p, 12:30-11p Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ASCP or AMT Must-Have: Generalist experience in Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, and Urinalysis microscopics. Ability to perform Phlebotomy. Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills. Self-motivated and a team player. Experience in Chemistry and Hematology differentials. Experience is highly preferred for travel roles. Description: The department requires a Medical Laboratory Technician with experience in various laboratory disciplines. The candidate will work within the areas of Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, and Urinalysis. Phlebotomy skills are necessary for this role. The candidate must demonstrate critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities. Team collaboration and self-motivation are essential. Familiarity with EPIC as an LIS system is required. Specific equipment used includes Abbott Architect, ISTAT, Beckman DXH, and more. Weekend shifts are on a rotating basis, requiring flexibility. Holidays entail a commitment to fill in as needed. Scrub color is not restricted, and lab coats will be provided. A department-specific orientation will take place with a general training period.
