The Greencastle-Antrim School District has an opening for a PA Certified Pre-K-4 Teacher or PA Certified K-6 TeacherEssential Job DutiesImplement the district's philosophy of education, goals and objectives through the district's sanctioned curriculum in accordance with approved planned courses of study.Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.Use a variety of instructional methods to covey concepts and facts in order to transmit knowledge to students.Evaluate student progress with a variety of techniques.Recognize learning problems displayed by students and report such concerns to the building principal.Establish and maintain appropriate classroom management techniques and assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and board policy for all students in the school.Keep records as required by the educational program.Work closely with parents to help develop the student to their fullest potential.Perform other duties related to the position of Classroom Teacher as requested by the Building Principal.Required documents include letter of interest, resume, PA certificate, clearances, TB test results within the last 90 days, and three letters of reference.EOE
