You will work closely with contractors, field foremen, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are properly documented, materials are ordered accurately, discrepancies are resolved quickly, and field crews are prepared for successful installation.\n\nThe ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while directing others and maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders.\n\nHow You Will Make an Impact\n\nReview architectural drawings, specifications, approved submittals, product information, and other project documents.\nManage commercial architectural millwork projects through key phases of planning, procurement, coordination, and installation.\nPerform and verify field measurements and document project-specific conditions and requirements.\nIdentify discrepancies between architectural documents and actual field conditions.\nCoordinate directly with Field Foremen to resolve project questions and prevent installation delays.\nPrepare and provide accurate submittal packages to contractors within required timelines.\nPurchase products and materials required for project installation or modification.\nCreate and manage material orders required for each project.\nTrack project documentation and material requirements to maintain readiness for field installation.\nCommunicate with contractors, vendors, field personnel, and internal team members regarding project status, changes, and technical issues.\nManage and direct others involved in project execution.\nMaintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout each phase of the project.\n\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\n\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in commercial architectural millwork.\nStrong ability to read and interpret detailed architectural blueprints and project specifications.\nDemonstrated knowledge of architectural millwork fabrication and installation.\nField measurement experience.\nStrong understanding of commercial construction project documentation and coordination.\nExperience preparing and reviewing submittal packages.\nExperience purchasing and coordinating materials for commercial projects.\nAbility to identify and resolve discrepancies between project documents and field conditions.\nProven ability to manage projects, priorities, and team members.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nExceptional interpersonal and relationship-management skills.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational ability.\nProficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office\n\nPreferred Background\n\nCandidates with direct experience managing commercial architectural millwork projects involving custom casework, cabinetry, panels, fixtures, and related architectural finishes are strongly preferred.\nExperience coordinating directly with general contractors, architects, field foremen, installers, vendors, and subcontractors is also highly valued.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\n\nAM Cabinets offers competitive compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications.\n\nBenefits include:\n\nMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance options.\n401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.\nPaid holidays, vacation, and sick time.\nCareer development and mentoring opportunities.\nCollaborative team environment.\nPeriodic company events.\n\nAbout AM Cabinets\n\nAM Cabinets Inc. is a commercial architectural millwork company based in the South Bay of Southern California.
