The business is managed by region (Kellenberger USA, Kellenberger Europe, and Kellenberger Asia), with a lean corporate leadership team.Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations across one or more entities. This role is responsible for full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, general ledger maintenance, month-end close support and reconciliations. The ideal candidate combines strong bookkeeping fundamentals with analytical skills, process discipline, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts PayableAssist with full AP cycle including invoice intake, coding, approvals, and postingVerify invoice accuracy, contract compliance, and proper authorizationMatch invoices to purchase orders, receipts, and vendor agreementsAssist in processing payments via ACH, wire, check, and online payment platformsMaintain vendor master data records, W-9 documentation, and onboarding controlsInvestigate and resolve billing discrepancies or duplicate invoicesAssist in preparing AP accruals and assist with 1099 reportingAccounts ReceivableAssist with full AR lifecycle including billing, collections, and customer payment postingPost and reconcile lockbox, ACH, wire, and check paymentsMonitor receivable aging and follow up on past-due balancesInvestigate unapplied cash, short payments, or disputesReconcile customer deposit and advanced payment accountGenerate invoices based on contracts, rent schedules, milestones, or recurring billingGeneral Accounting & Close SupportPrepare journal entries including accruals, reclasses, allocations, and amortizationPerform monthly bank and cash account reconciliations and support intercompany reconciliationsTrack daily cash activity and assist with short-term cash flow reportingSupport month-end and year-end close processesReconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variancesAssist in maintaining fixed asset schedules and depreciation entriesEnsure financial records are audit-ready and well documentedAssist with Expense port analysis and travel policy adherenceSupport accounting clean-ups, system implementations, or entity restructuresRequired Qualifications5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in a full-cycle roleStrong understanding of AP, AR, GL, and reconciliationsExperience working with multiple entities or business units preferredProficiency in accounting systems and Excel-based reportingHigh attention to detail and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesPreferred QualificationsAssociate’s Degree in Accounting/FinanceCompensation$60,000 to $75,000 based on experienceApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship**We offer a competitive salary and benefit package including health insurance, life insurance, 401(k), paid vacation, paid holidays and long-term disability.It is the policy of Kellenberger not to discriminate against any applicant for employment, or any employee because of age, color, sex, disability, national origin, race, religion, or veteran status.
