Primary Job Title: Data and AI DevOps EngineerOnsite Flexibility: HybridWork Arrangement: 100% RemotePosition Type: ContractStart: As Soon As PossibleDuration: 6+ MonthsJob Summary: The Data and AI DevOps Engineer II designs, builds, enhances, and supports full stack applications for production systems and skunkworks initiatives. This role emphasizes execution, ownership, and problem-solving, working closely with architects and senior engineers to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions. The position supports both core product development and marketing-driven initiatives and may be performed remotely, in a hybrid arrangement, or on-site depending on team needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Next.js (frontend) and Node.js (backend)Implement and consume APIs, including authentication and authorization mechanismsBuild user interfaces using Tailwind CSS and modern CSS best practicesIntegrate AI capabilities (e.g., calling LLM or machine learning APIs and implementing prompt-driven features)Use basic SQL to query data, perform joins, and troubleshoot data-related issuesOwn assigned features end-to-end from initial investigation through implementation and defined support/hand-offRapidly prototype new concepts and evolve them into production-quality solutionsDeploy, operate, and support applications hosted in Microsoft AzureTroubleshoot application, integration, and operational issues as they ariseProvide development and integration support for marketing use cases leveraging Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and related Adobe tools (training provided)Produce and maintain clear technical documentation in Confluence and related knowledge basesCollaborate with architects, senior engineers, product teams, and stakeholders; participate in code reviews and continuous improvementContribute to CI/CD pipeline configuration and deployment scripts as part of defined build scopeCreate/maintain build artifacts and technical documentation (implementation notes, configuration references) tied to deliverablesExecute and document initial test runs (smoke/integration) required for go-live readiness in coordination with QAParticipate in code reviews and address defects found during initial testingEducation RequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; or Associate degree with additional relevant professional experience; or High School Diploma/GED with additional relevant professional experienceRequired Experience3-6 years of professional experience as a full stack developerExperience with source control and modern CI/CD workflowsAbility to follow established engineering standards and produce clear implementation documentationRequired Skills (Minimum KSAs)Backend development with Node.jsTailwind CSSBasic SQL (queries/joins/troubleshooting)Experience deploying/supporting apps in Azure (preferred) or AWSExposure integrating AI/LLM servicesAbility to work independently and drive tasks to completionStrong written communication for technical documentationWorking knowledge of scripting/programming for automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)Nice-to-Have ExperienceExperience in healthcare or other regulated environmentsPrior exposure to Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) or other Adobe marketing toolsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native services, and operational best practicesExperience balancing experimental/skunkworks initiatives with production-quality deliveryFamiliarity with automated testing and release readiness practicesExperience supporting internal analytics or AI platformsCertification/LicensureNone requiredWhat Success Looks LikeDemonstrates the ability to take loosely defined problems and move them forward independently, proactively documents findings and solutions for reuse, delivers reliable and maintainable solutions aligned with architectural direction, and effectively supports both core product development and marketing-driven Adobe initiatives.BenefitsMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401k Retirement Fund#J-18808-Ljbffr
