As a Processing Technician, you’ll handle the critical steps of plasma processing, sampling, and storage while maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Your attention to detail will directly impact the quality of products that help patients around the world.\nWhat you'll do\nComplete aseptic sampling and heat sealing of plasma units, placing them in freezers within required timeframes to ensure quality.\nMonitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures, reporting any deviations immediately.\nProcess plasma and samples according to cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.\nMaintain product safety and integrity during processing, storage, and shipment.\nPerform centrifugation, labeling, inspection, and classification of products.\nPrepare, calibrate, and verify equipment maintenance as scheduled.\nManage product packing, inventory, and freezer organization for efficiency.\nControl the disposition of unsuitable products with complete documentation.\nPrepare and verify shipments according to SOPs.\nReceive and inventory incoming supplies, maintaining a clean and organized storage area.\nIdentify released units daily and stage them for shipment.\nMaintain accurate records and data integrity in all processing activities.\nFollow unidirectional flow procedures to prevent cross-contamination.\nKeep the processing area clean, orderly, and stocked with necessary supplies.\nAnswer calls professionally, providing accurate information or transferring to the appropriate person.\nSupport production goals while ensuring donor questions are answered clearly and professionally.\nQualifications and need-to-know\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.\nAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.\nGood organizational and problem-solving skills.\nWillingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.\nFamiliarity with FDA, cGMP, and OSHA regulations is a plus.\nEmployment eligibility verification will be required at the time of hire.
