Conference Center ManagerOverview:Join our client as a Conference Center Manager and become a vital part of their mission to deliver seamless and impactful meetings and events. In this role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all aspects of various meetings and conferences, ensuring every detail aligns to deliver exceptional experiences. Your expertise will help uphold high standards of service, streamline operations, and support the organization's strategic objectives.Compensation:$35.00-40.00/ hrResponsibilities:Lead the development of comprehensive meeting plans, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth event executionOversee the management of venue contracts, catering, transportation, and accommodations to support event needsSupervise scheduling of rooms, resource setup, and technical support to guarantee operational excellencePrepare and distribute event communications, including invitations, badges, and program materialsCollaborate with vendors and stakeholders to optimize food & beverage services and manage event logisticsMonitor and report on meeting performance metrics, including financial reconciliations and compliance with service standardsProvide onsite support for events, ensuring all elements are delivered to specifications and resolving issues promptlyCoordinate travel arrangements and secure negotiated discounts with airlines and hotels for attendeesMaintain detailed documentation for each event, including specifications, schedules, and post-event reviewsPerform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goalsRequirements:3 to 6 years of related experience in event or meeting planningBachelor's Degree; Certified Meeting Planner certification preferredComprehensive knowledge of event planning processes and terminologyExcellent project management, organizational, and multitasking abilitiesKeen attention to detail and quality controlExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalProven ability to work independently and within a team to solve complex problemsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and OutlookAbility to manage deadlines effectively in a dynamic environmentUnderstanding of larger organizational goals and processes to align event planning activities accordinglyOur Commitment to Inclusion & BelongingThe Hollister Group is an equal opportunity employer.
