Our Machine Operator position is a full-time position with a stable work shift throughout the year and great benefits including attendance bonuses and employee appreciation events!\nOur Machine Operators are reliable team members responsible for\nSetting up, monitoring, performing changeovers, and troubleshooting vertical form fill machines\nMonitor and adjust each machine to ensure proper cut off of film and bags have proper end seals/ back seals as required\nMonitors and checks weights and product appearance as required\nProperly accounts for product run off and handles this product accordingly; sorts through and reworks all good product\nRequired Experience, Skills and Abilities:\nPrevious machine operating experience (vertical fill machine) required\nPrevious experience changing packing film on machines and changeovers\nBasic mechanical skills required\nMust be able to work in varied temperatures (hot or cold)\nPhysical Requirements:\nFrequently required to stand, walk, sit, use of hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach\nOccasionally lift, carry, and move up to fifty (50) pounds\nSpecific vision abilities required of this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.\nShift Time:\n1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm\n3rd Shift: Sunday 9:30pm-7:00am, Monday to Thursday 10:30pm-7:00am\nWhy G&S Foods?\nG&S Foods’ reputation for quality and service is reflective of the dedicated employees who are responsible for the company’s continued success.
