Make an impact by connecting and securing critical operations across the globe, keeping our country safe and secure.\nJob Description\nThe COMSEC Manager’s primary function is working within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Military Compartments efforts. The position will provide “day-to-day” support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.\n\nPerformance shall include:\nConduct secure equipment (e.g., secure telephone and encryption devices) and classified keying material inventories, inspections and other COMSEC related support and oversight functions\nPerform installation of secure telephone equipment (STE) and coordinate to deliver encryption device(s) and keying material to select Information Technology (IT) specialists maintaining classified networks\nAdminister a Top Secret inventory and document control program to account for COMSEC equipment and materials\nConduct inventories per agency policy and reports any discrepancy to government customer\nCourier classified information and author receipts for classified materials\nEnsure Automated Information Systems Security requirements, related to COMSEC duties, are complied with\nEnsure proper physical security accreditation has been issued by designated Program Security Officers for supported facilities\nTrain personnel in COMSEC procedures and the use of related equipment\n\nExperience:\n5 years related experience\nSAP experience desired\n\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree in a related area + 2 years’ experience OR equivalent experience (4 years)\n\nClearance Required to Start:\nTS/SCI required\nMust be able to Attain – TS/SCI with CI Polygraph\nGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:\n401K with company match\nComprehensive health and wellness packages\nInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career\nProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications\nCutting-edge technology you can learn from\nRest and recharge with paid vacation and holiday\n\n#AirforceSAPOpportunities #AFSAP #Defense #kmp #COMSEC #ManagerI\nWork Requirements\nYears of Experience\n5 + years of related experience\nmay vary based on technical training, certification(s), or degree\nCertification\nTravel Required\n10-25%\nCitizenship\nU.S. Citizenship Required\nSalary and Benefit Information\nThe likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $97,750.
