If you have a passion for food, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to providing exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook a wide variety of foods for residents, employees, and visitorsFollow recipes and cooking schedules to meet mealtime schedulesPerform related duties and cleaning duties as assignedDirect other food service employees in the absence of the Food Service Director and Assistant Food Service DirectorHandle and prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulationsPrepare palatable and appetizing meals, as prescribed for the residents by the attending physicianMeet required meal schedulesProperly care for dietary equipment and production sheetsFollow menus and special diet instructionsCommunicate freely with the Food Service DirectorCooperate with other food service staff and facility personnelEnsure that residents receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphereRequirementsAt least 2 years of experience in the healthcare field and/or related industryHigh school diploma or GED requiredAbility to work well with peers in a congenial work environmentMaintain utmost compassion and dignity to the residentsAbility to work rotating weekends, as well as holiday and as needed, to ensure proper staffing levelsPhysical and Sensory RequirementsMust be able to move intermittently throughout the workdayMust meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility, which include a medical and physical examinationCompensation$18 - $18 HOURLYIf you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about providing excellent service, please apply today!
