Senior Teller Float

Under thesupervision of the Float Operations Manager, performs a variety ofteller and member services to Credit Union members in conformance withestablished Credit Union policies, strategies and procedures. Key JobRequirements: - Performs any functions, within scope of authority andexpertise to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness tothe members served by the Credit Union while performing all duties inaccordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines and CreditUnion policies and procedures. - Accurately processes a variety ofmember transactions in accordance with cash handling procedures andpolicy (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, etc).Balances cash, work and ensures proper documentation is signed andstamped at end of day. - Actively cross sells and provides informationconcerning Credit Union products and services in accordance with CreditUnion policies. - Promotes Branch business development and seeks tobroaden member base. Responds to member inquiries and refers to MemberServices for further action as needed. - Actively participates in allsales campaigns through the use of Product Knowledge Center andin-branch coaching. - Is accountable for performing the key jobrequirements of a Teller. - Serves as a Vault Teller on a rotating basisafter achieving Vault Training Certification. Orders Cash. - Responsiblefor end of day balancing and maintaining Cash Recycler cash limits.Related Responsibilities: - Uses Greylock\'s principles of RelationshipDecisioning. - Performs transaction overrides, after completing OverrideComprehension Training. Is ATM balance certified. Conducts \"out ofbalance\" cash drawer difference audits when necessary and correctsTeller errors. Can open and close the branch. - Promotes the CreditUnion wherever and whenever possible. Encouraged to actively representthe Credit Union in local civic, community and professionalorganizations. The above is a description of the ordinary duties of theposition. It should be expected that from time-to-time other dutiesrelated and unrelated to the above, may be assigned and, therefore,required. Position Requirements: - High School diploma or itsequivalent. - Six months cash handling experience in a financial orservice related position preferred. - Good organizational,interpersonal, communication, problem solving skills and attention todetail required. - Ability to efficiently and effectively process a highvolume of transactions. - Perform as a team player, displaying positiveand professional attitude toward members and co-workers. - Ability touse various types of office equipment, including office software, spreadsheet applications, adding machines, cash recyclers (as applicable) andPC proficient in Microsoft Office. - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds andstand for a long period of time. - Employee needs reliabletransportation to travel to and from various branches. - Mileage will bereimbursed to and from branches from the employee\'s base work location.Supervisory Scope: Assists full and part-time Tellers with training,questions and decision-making skills.
