The successful candidate will work a 36-hour weekend schedule and be paid for 40 hours.\nThis role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working independently, solving complex automation and controls challenges, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As the primary Controls Engineer supporting weekend operations, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the reliability, efficiency, and performance of our automated systems.\nAs a Controls Engineer, you will analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical and automation-related problems. You will also lead and complete engineering projects related to electrical controls, programming, and process improvements. This role requires the ability to work autonomously with limited supervision while collaborating effectively with operations, maintenance, and project teams.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nProvide automation support for plant process and equipment.\nCollaborate with the operation, maintenance, and project teams.\nDevelop and Design PLC (Allen Bradley), HMI (Allen Bradley), and SCADA (GE Proficy IFIX, Factory Talk SE) changes as needed.\nModify existing applications as requested by process/operations team to provide reports and data required to increase operating efficiencies and reduce downtime.\nProvide support to resolve issues and provide training.\nMaintain and troubleshoot VFD's\nMaintain documentation and updated PLC and robot programs.\nDesign and maintain electrical schematics using AutoCAD format for any equipment changes.\nPromoting and demonstrating Hartmann core values and leadership behavior.\nSkills and Qualifications:\nUniversity Degree in Electrical Engineering.
