We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications.\nOur BLR Aerospace operation is a leading provider of proprietary aerodynamic systems that enhance the productivity, performance and safety of rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft.\nJob Summary\nEngineering Change Management\n\nLead the ECN process: organize meetings, ensure cross-functional collaboration, and track status of change documentation.\n\nCoordinate completion of ECNs, obtain consensus between departments, and verify changes are reflected across affected documents and are MMA compliant.\n\nImprove ECN tools and workflows to streamline operations.\n\nMaintain accurate ECN logs, approvals, and metrics for traceability.\nCertification & Regulatory Compliance\n\nCreate, track, and release document packages for both minor and major engineering changes, ensuring consistency and accuracy across CCS, MDLs, and drawings.\n\nCoordinate with FAA, ODA, and DERs to manage certification data submittals, ensuring accuracy and alignment with BLR’s MMA and PSP agreements.\n\nTrack project submittals and foreign certifications, working closely with certification offices.\n\nManage the FAA approval and distribution of Master Drawing Lists (MDLs), ensuring timely releases to customers and suppliers.\n\nDeliver document releases and changes across internal teams and to OEMs.\n\nConduct QMS audits and support the maintenance of AS9100 and PMA certifications through process documentation and continuous improvement projects.\nEngineering Data & Document Control\n\nManage engineering data and documentation using PDM, including revision control, access permissions, metadata accuracy, and folder structure.\n\nOrganize and maintain internal file systems, audit for outdated files, and support document control procedures.\n\nUpload and record new documents, approvals, and correspondence.\n\nCoordinate with external partners (OEMs, manufacturers, suppliers) to ensure latest data and documentation are acquired and filed.\n\nDevelop and implement standardized templates, formatting guidelines, and documentation structures.\n\nCreate and maintain pack lists, ensuring they are accurate and align with engineering BOMs and inventory documentation.\n\nManage the lifecycle of intellectual property (IP), ensuring appropriate controls are maintained from initial development through end-of-life stages.\n\nCoordinate internal and external data in alignment with contractual and regulatory Intellectual Property agreements.\nTechnical Publications & Supplier Support\n\nManage and update Technical Publications on the company website; ensure customers have access to the latest documentation.\n\nCoordinate supplier data transmittals using SharePoint, ensuring secure access, IP security and compliance with\nNDA and ASL requirements.\n\nMaintain watermark technical documents and drawings to protect IP and control distribution.\nResponsible for protecting and maintaining all Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) appropriately to prevent unauthorized access, dissemination, or use of this information, documentation, or products;
