About the JobJob Title: Section 508 Tester (Accessibility Tester) Location: Remote Duration: 6+ Months No. of Positions: 1 JOB DESCRIPTION Role: Section 508 Tester supports accessibility compliance efforts by evaluating applications and systems to ensure adherence to Section 508 standards and accessibility guidelines. Responsibilities: Perform accessibility testing of applications using automated and manual tools Identify and document accessibility issues based on Section 508 and WCAG standards Support remediation efforts by working with development teams Validate fixes and ensure compliance with accessibility requirements Prepare accessibility compliance reports and documentation Collaborate with QA and development teams to integrate accessibility into testing processes Minimum Qualifications: 3–5+ years of experience in accessibility testing or QA. Knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.0/2.1 standards. Experience with accessibility testing tools (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, Axe, Wave). Understanding of HTML, CSS, and UI components. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
