Ensure developed solutions remain compliant with all applicable Prudential standards\nDrive software development activities to meet schedules and timelines\nThrives to ensure code quality is high supporting testing and automation\nResearch problems with a strong sense of ownership and develop solutions to address the problems\nStay abreast of emerging technologies and how they can be applied to Prudential\nEnable change, help accelerate innovation\nDemonstrating experience with taking intelligent risks and leveraging a 'test and learn' mentality\nCommitted to a spirit of authentic partnership – to colleagues both internal and external to the organization\nConduct component testing and integration testing\nEnsure that software standards, non-functional requirements and quality targets are met\nQualifications\nBachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience in related fields\nExperience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)\nExcellent problem-solving techniques\nAbility to work independently with minimal guidance\nClear, professional communications (listening, oral and written communications)\nStrong relationship building and collaboration skills\nDemonstrated track record as a team player\nExperience working on agile scrum teams\nA successful candidate will possess 5+ years of experience with the following:\nWorking knowledge of branching techniques and usage of GitHub, Bitbucket or Subversion required.\nExperience in distributed systems, object oriented programming, design patterns and design methodology required\nExperience working with Node.js backend applications, JavaScript and TypeScript required\nExperience with Web service technologies such as REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, JWT required\nExperience with relational and NoSQL data base technologies is required\nExperience deploying applications to AWS, ECS, EC2 instances.
