The associate contributes to the management and financial success of annuity and retirement products by performing Statutory modeling, attribution analysis, analyzing in-force business, and performing model testing duties. Candidates must possess strong programming, financial and analytical skills and be able to successfully work with the Model Development, Planning, Pricing, and ERM Departments in support of a variety of actuarial initiatives.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n\nPerform mathematical and financial calculations\nProvide support for Statutory modeling initiatives\nSupport preparation of actuarial memorandum, exhibits and reports\nInterpret and analyze model results from actuarial software systems\nTest model enhancements, including regression and unit testing\nPerform other tasks as assigned\nWho Are You?\n\nBachelor’s degree with major or minor in Actuarial Science or Mathematics\nAssociate or Fellow of Society of Actuaries credential\nMinimum three years of actuarial experience\nAnnuity (VA, FA, FIA) Statutory Modeling experience preferred\nExperience with actuarial modeling software preferred, using Prophet a plus\nStrong computer skills including Excel and actuarial software\nStrong programming / scripting skills including VBA, SQL, or Python preferred\nGood written and verbal communication skills\nStrong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills\nStrong initiative and ability to work independently\nConsider joining our progressive team in our nationally recognized company.
