The position requires analyzing, tracing, prioritizing, and managing C4ISR system requirements and communicating those requirements to relevant stakeholders which include system design architects, system engineers and system test specialists.\n\nRequirements:\nSecret Clearance Required\nEducation and Experience:\nBS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field or combination of studies and technically relevant experience.\nExperience in supporting development, deployment, and sustainment of naval C4ISR systems.\nWorking knowledge of DOORS, ClearQuest, and Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.\nStrong oral and written communication skills\nEssential Duties:\nManage USCG Sea Commander C4ISR system requirements.\nReview and assess Aegis Weapon System Common Source Library (CSL) software changes that impact USCG C4ISR system.\nAssist with system requirements verification, validation, and mapping.\nDeliver system requirements trace for verification and test procedure development.\nPerform analysis for Engineering Review Boards.\nProvide feedback at Software Engineering Review Boards.\nProvide recommendations for improved interoperability with Coast Guard applications, including National Security Cutter (NSC) Sea Commander C4ISR system and Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Seawatch Command and Control system.\nUpdate Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) database with changes to requirements and specifications.\nReview ClearQuest change management databases for potential impacts to requirements.\nAccesses ClearQuest databases to identify current Software Change Request (SCR)/Computer Program Change Request (CPCR) status and recommend prioritization.\nUpdate Interface Design Specifications and Application Programming Interfaces for interoperability with other systems.\nPrepare presentations for Weapons Systems Explosive Safety Review Board (WSESRB), Software System Safety Technical Review Panel (SSSTRP), Mission Readiness Assessments (MRA), Combat System Certification Panels (CSCP), Technical Assist Events, and Technical Data Packages (TDP).\nReview TDPs for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and clarity.\nDevelop, edit, and review Time Compliant Technical Orders (TCTOs)\nDevelop, edit, and review Engineering Changes (EC).\nPlanning, coordination, scheduling, and execution of program management reviews for senior leaders to include in-house production of presentation materials, assembling document binders and delivering presentations for reviews.\nFacilitate the Engineering Change Process to support the Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) process within the Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) database.\nPerform requirements analysis and tracing for tailoring into the Sea Commander system.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:.\nAbility to derive functional system requirements from higher-level operational requirements.\nExperience and ability to work in a software and system development environment.\nAbility to manage local system requirements databases.\nAbility to manage CG Portal web-based SharePoint information management website.\nAbility to manage local requirements databases.\nFamiliarity with Aegis Weapon System Software Common Source Library (CSL).\nAbility to coordinate and deliver system requirements management support across multiple stakeholders and customers.\n\nThe projected salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000 and is based on experience and contractual requirements.
