Assembler - Mechanical

Salary Range: $18.00 - $21.00Primary purpose of this position is to assemble and test mechanical products per established procedures, guidelines and timeframes.ResponsibilitiesFollow company technical work instructions, procedures, and quality standards for all assembly, testing, and packaging operations.Operate a variety of production equipment including hydraulic presses, electromechanical presses, manual hand wheel presses, torque stations, shrink wrap and box banding machines, label printers, transmission test benches, dial indicators, torque wrenches, calipers, and various hand tools and fixtures.Assemble, test, and package gearboxes and components according to product specifications.Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet all quality and performance standards.Identify, report, and record any quality deviations or nonconformances per the MRB (Material Review Board) process.Record and store TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) data according to established schedules.Maintain tools, fixtures, and equipment used in the production process. Work flexibly at different production stations as required, including assembly, testing, and packaging.Handle inventory with care and attention to detail.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with 6S and safety guidelines. Accurately report time spent on tasks for hours accounting and production tracking.
