Central tasks include the tracking of all cash items originating in or returning to the specific processing site, review of daily vault balance & inventory, upkeep of schedule including PTO & timecard approval, investigation & reconciliation of variances, and ensuring day-to-day operations including proper SOP in all processes.Duties And ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day oversight of a regional processing departmentDaily approval of employee timecardsDaily balance & reporting of vault inventory and cash movementDaily reporting of any and all variances found within processesIndependently resolve discrepancies and irregularitiesObservation and reinforcement of outlined standard operating proceduresImplementation and maintenance of control proceduresImplementation and maintenance of new & ongoing process improvementsEnsuring financial reporting deadlines are metAssistance with accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closesCommunication and cooperation with other departmentsProtection of the organization’s value by keeping information confidentialConducting additional reviews and analyses as needed or requested by senior managementAd-hoc projects as assignedQualificationsPrevious cash handling experience preferredProficient in Microsoft Excel & Office Suite21 years of ageAbility to pass licensing by the Illinois Gaming BoardAbility to prepare reports and business correspondenceCommitment to excellence and high standardsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to understand and follow written and verbal instructionsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflowAbility to work independently and as a member of various teams and committeesVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmMinimum of 21 years of ageAbility to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler’s License from the Illinois Gaming BoardPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTAnalyze financial data and calculate figures and amountsContinually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including use of a keyboardOccasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawlFrequently required to lift/push weights up to 40 poundsSpecific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focusNoise level in the work environment is usually moderate#AEGamingBase Pay Range$60,000 per yearThis range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position.
