Physician (MD/DO) – Occupational Health / Urgent CareLocation: Santa Maria, CA Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Compensation: $250,000 – $300,000 + full benefits, CME, and moreOverviewWe are seeking a Physician (MD/DO) to join a high-performing outpatient center focused on occupational health and urgent care services. This role is ideal for a provider who enjoys a fast-paced environment, values team collaboration, and is passionate about delivering efficient, high-quality patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in an outpatient setting (100% clinical)Serve as Primary Treating Physician (PTP) for workplace injuriesDiagnose, treat, and manage occupational and urgent care casesCollaborate with therapists and specialists to optimize outcomes and case closureSupervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants as requiredCommunicate with employers regarding injuries and care updatesEnsure accurate documentation, coding, and use of clinical systemsParticipate in quality improvement, team meetings, and workflow optimizationSupport staffing, training, and development of clinical team membersMaintain strong relationships with clients, employers, and payersQualificationsMD or DO from an accredited programActive, unrestricted California medical license (or in progress)Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABPM, ABFM, AOA, or equivalent)Active DEA registrationCurrent BLS and AED certification (ACLS preferred)NRCME (DOT Medical Examiner) certification or ability to obtain within 30 daysPreferred ExperienceOccupational HealthUrgent CareExperience in high-volume outpatient settingsPractice Details2-provider clinicMinimum of 3 patients per hourStrong clinical and administrative support teamFocus on efficiency, patient experience, and quality outcomesWhat We OfferCompetitive salary ($250K–$300K)Comprehensive benefits packageCME allowancePredictable weekday schedule (no nights/weekends)Collaborative and team-oriented environmentWhy JoinThis is an opportunity to step into a well-supported, team-driven environment where you can make a direct impact on patient outcomes while maintaining a strong work-life balance.
