Payroll Manager

Our client is a financial services firm looking for a Payroll Manager.Job Description:Ensure the processing of multi-state and expatriate payroll is accurate and timelyManage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timelyMaintain and audit payroll information through collecting, calculating, entering, and uploading dataUpdate payroll records, entering changes in exemptions, deductions, employment status, and department/division transfersRecommend ways to improve and automate payroll processesPrepare reports, compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wagesPrepare tax documents firmwideResolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information and responding in a timely matterCore Competencies:7+ years of experience in end to end payroll processingBachelor's degree requiredWorkday exp preferredMust have experience working in financial services (ideally hedge fund/private equity)Must have knowledge of Federal and State Tax regulations and lawsThe annual base salary range is $120,000 to $170,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
