Construction Resources offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits.\nThe Delivery Truck Driver is responsible for the safe operation of the company’s vehicle. This role is responsible for all functions related to the vehicle, including the pre-trip report (DVIR), ensuring the truck is loaded properly, the material is secured to the truck, delivery of materials to the customer location, and processing of all customer delivery paperwork.\n \nJOB DESCRIPTIONResponsibilities:\n\nSafely operate a heavy-load truck.\nEnsure all material is properly secured at the beginning of the shift and continuously monitor after each delivery.\nEnsure that all customer supporting paperwork is completed and returned at the end of each shift.\nCollect, document, and properly secure money received to ensure alignment with customer paperwork.\nReport any issues or incidents related to material damage or customer matters to dispatch.\nPerform the daily truck inspection, pre- and post-trip (DVIR).\nSeek advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor.\nPerform and document inspections to ensure truck and equipment are kept in good condition.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nMinimum of 2 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving. \nProficient in driving automatic transmission trucks. \nPossession of a commercial driver's license (type A or B) \nCapability to operate a gate lift. \nProficiency in operating an electric pallet jack.\nExperience in handling commercial and residential deliveries. \nAbility to service all region’s distribution centers.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nTravel is required for this position.\nSuccessful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check is mandatory.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nKnowledge of DOT rules and regulations\nMinimum of 5 years of forklift experience\nMinimum of 5 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving. \n\n#CRTrades\nMassachusetts Pay Transparency$27—$30 USD\nBENEFITSMedicalDentalVisionEmployer Paid Basic Employee Life and AD&D InsuranceEmployer Paid Long Term DisabilityFlexible Spending AccountsVoluntary Short-Term DisabilityVoluntary Life and AD&D InsuranceVoluntary Accident InsuranceVoluntary Critical Illness Insurance\n\nEEOAt Construction Resources, our people are the driving force behind everything we do.
