This position reports to a Senior Program Manager within the SkyGuardian Global Support Solution (SGSS) organization and is responsible for the development and implementation of sustainment programs, projects, and operations to support the customer’s fleet of MQ-9B weaponized aircraft systems. Tasks include the management of material, equipment / parts, logistics, maintenance, training, engineering support, airworthiness, technical publications, site operations, and general customer support.\n\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCoordinate the fielding and maintenance of the MQ-9B SkyGuardian fleet.\nOversee and monitor project schedules, timelines, and milestones from initiation, delivery, and steady state operations (sustainment) to meet contractual requirements.\nManage and facilitate subcontracts by meeting with subcontractors on a regular basis for status and alignment on scope, schedule, budget, and resources.\nCollaborate with the Configuration Management Engineering team to establish sustainment concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product improvements, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS), and obsolescence solutions.\nAct as liaison between Sr. Leadership, project management, project engineering, flight-line management, and the international customer to resolve issues relating to program, field operations, and resource priority concerns.\nProvide leadership, direction, and guidance to employees working on assigned projects.\nEffectively communicate program expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely fashion.\nAssign and monitor work of project management staff, providing technical support and direction when necessary.\nWork closely with GA-ASI functional areas and international program office to coordinate support to customer operations.\nIdentify and assess program issues and develop solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.\nCreate project plans and manage resources to ensure project schedule, budget, quality, and specification goals are attained.\nProvide leadership in the execution of project and contract deliverables.\nDevelop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.\nCoordinate departmental and/or cross-functional teams to assign and prioritize tasks focused on upgrading existing products and/or services.\nCollaborate across management and project team to expand services and potential business opportunities.\nMay participate in and lead segments of (or provide overall management for) the Request for Proposal (RFP) process to generate new business.\nEnsure business area compliance by utilizing various Business Area Management (BAM) skill sets.\nInterpret and administer policies and procedures that impact the program.\nOther duties as assigned or required to support leadership.\nWe recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.\n\nHighlights Working For GA-ASI:\nThis position is eligible for the Individual Compensation Program (ICP) bonus.\nThis position is eligible for a hybrid work environment (up to 1 day/week remote work from home) pending project needs.\nOutstanding benefits including: 401(k) (with company match), company pension, on site cafeterias, gyms and outdoor recreation centers, unlimited access to discounted tickets for amusement parks such as San Diego Zoo and Safari Park.\nOutstanding work environment: team-centric, value and respect all contributors, great growth potential within GA-ASI project engineering and GA-ASI as a whole.\nJob Qualifications\nBachelors, Masters or PhD in engineering, science or a related technical field as well as nine or more years of progressively complex program administration experience.
