This work will include management of the following: project safety; project scope; project schedule; project costs; project quality; project resources; and project contracts with clients and vendors.Required:Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, Construction, Business, or related technical field preferred.This position requires a minimum of 10 years’ experience, 7+ in a Project Management position.Experience leading in a large team-oriented, collaborative environment.PMP Preferred or the ability to obtain PMP within 12 months of employment.Experience in engineering and design of high voltage (69-500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD.Knowledge of conducting analysis to ensure system reliability and efficiency,Job Duties & Responsibilities:Execute the duties needed to ensure that projects of all sizes include all the required scope, and only the required scope, to successfully complete a project per the contractPerform the work required to plan, execute, monitor and control the timely completion of any size project assigned scope of work per the agreed upon and contractual scheduleUnderstand interdependencies for all tasks on a projectPerform work necessary to estimate, budget, verify funding, manage monitor and control costs according to the approved budget on mid to large sized projectsManage the work so that it aligns with quality policies, procedures, objectives, and standards to meet both the company and client expectations within contract termsAnalyze, estimate, recommend to the appropriate company leaders required resources and competencies with the project teamsPerform and manage the work required to ensure timely and appropriate planning, collection, creation, distribution, storage, retrieval, management, control, monitoring, and the ultimate disposition of project information on mid to large-size projectsManage any and all changes to scope, schedule and cost, including company internal changes and client changesConduct risk management planning, identification, analysis, response planning, and controlling risk on mid to large-size projectsConduct the work necessary to find, estimate, purchase, or acquire products, services, or results needed from outside of the project team including writing and managing Requests For Proposal events on mid to large-size projectsPerform the work required to identify the people, groups, or organizations that could impact or be impacted by the project; to analyze stakeholders’ expectations and their impact on the project; and to develop appropriate management strategies for effectively engaging stakeholders in project decisions and executionAt The Planet Group, we connect Energy experts with opportunities that match their skills, goals, and ambition.
