We have been retained by an innovative and growing employment litigation boutique with a national practice that seeks to hire an associate or counsel-level litigation attorney. The firm operates remotely, and the environment is warm and collegial, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, mentorship, and sustainable careers—attorneys are encouraged to “live whole lives” while doing sophisticated work.Key ResponsibilitiesDefend employers in a variety of commercial litigation and employment litigation matters, including wage-and-hour and PAGA actionsDraft pleadings, motions, and other substantive court filingsAssist with case strategy, discovery, and client counselingWork closely with partners and other attorneys in a collaborative team environmentGain meaningful, hands-on litigation experienceWhat the Firm SeeksAbout 2 to 10 or more years of experienceCalifornia licensing required; New York licensing a plusBigLaw or similar backgroundStrong writing, analytical, and interpersonal skillsExcellent judgment and professionalism; cultural fit is criticalWhat the Firm OffersRemote work environmentReasonable and sustainable hours (approximately 1,700–1,800 annually)Compensation range of $200,000 to $350,000, depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus compensationHealthcare and a 401(k) with employer matchAttorney mentorship and investment into business developmentA collaborative, innovative firm cultureI have placed two attorneys with this firm, and we have close ties there.
