You will be involved with initiatives such as deploying the DevOps framework, development of Cloud Native applications to deliver new capabilities to JCI's Customers. You should be comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced environment, contributing to innovative solutions, while demonstrating leadership and technical competence. You should also be comfortable collaborating regularly with JCI's business leaders to understand how you can advance our strategic offerings.\r\nHow You Will Do It Understand and adhere to enterprise architecture principles and best practices\r\nMaintain and advance technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights, and share within the technical community\r\nDeveloping web-based applications that interface with multiple IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS components\r\nIntegrating web-based applications and services into larger enterprise systems\r\nIntegrating backend AI deliverables and agentic frameworks into production applications\r\nDesigning and implementing containerized microservices architectures\r\nWriting backend business logic and integrating front end client UI with backend API's\r\nDeveloping unit, regression, integration, and acceptance tests around endpoints and underlying business logic\r\nWhat We Look For Experience developing with .NET, React, and Microsoft SQL\r\nExperience integrating AI models, APIs, and agentic frameworks into backend systems\r\nExperience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture\r\nUnderstanding of the DevOps Framework\r\nExperience with development and collaboration tools (Azure DevOps, Git, Visual Studio, etc.).\r\nUnderstanding of software development technologies and architecture\r\nProven experience as a developer\r\nClient-facing and internal communication skills\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\r\nSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills\r\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office – specifically Microsoft Project (Online and/or Server) and Professional\r\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar\r\nThis is a hybrid role at either our Glendale, WI or Dallas, TX office.\r\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $85,000 - $117,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role. However, we recognize that exceptional candidates may bring unique skills and experiences that exceed the typical profile.
