This position will be performed virtually from the individual's home office, working on an EST time schedule. The RTE will support Smile Digital Health in managing and directing a development team, ensuring smooth execution of releases and project objectives. The RTE will facilitate Agile processes and ensure alignment with Smile Digital Health's goals.\n(Military Veterans are highly encouraged to apply)\nResponsibilities\nTrack and communicate team capacity and velocity, as well as backlog refinement and demo progress to all affected teams and management, covering everything up until development and release of each epic.\nFacilitate discussion and conflict resolution to improve team productivity while promoting continuous improvement.\nUpdate Jira and other systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs.\nAssist the team in making appropriate commitments through story selection, task definition, and ensuring stories provided to development teams are defined and meet the definition of done.\nOversee scope management tasks, including supporting change management activities and participating in business requirements development, program increment planning, sprint reviews, and release planning.\nManage compliance activities, including updating dashboards, preparing for milestone reviews, and advising Smile Digital Health customers on compliance requirements.\nPlan, facilitate, and manage program processes and execution, including Program Increment (PI) planning events, Scrum of Scrums, and ensuring alignment of teams to defined success criteria and milestones.\nIdentify, manage, and mitigate risks and dependencies across the Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring impediments and interdependencies are quickly addressed.\nFoster a culture of continuous improvement by conducting retrospectives and coaching teams on Agile best practices.\nRequired Minimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in information technology, information systems, or related disciplines (technical certification in a relevant technology area can be substituted for a degree).\nProfessional Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and SAFe Agilist 6.0 certification (SAFe Release Train Engineer certification is a plus).\n7+ years of relevant experience in Agile and Scrum, including management of cross-functional teams.\nExperience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.\nStrong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.\nAbility to work independently, showing initiative in addressing tasks and challenges.\nRequired Technical/Business Tools\nJira, GitHub, and/or comparable DevOps tools.\nMicrosoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).\nConfluence and MS SharePoint (including basic administration and configuration).\nMicrosoft Project and Visio.\nDesired Skills and Qualifications\nExperience working in the healthcare or technology industries, particularly with FHIR-based systems.\nAbility to work under pressure, coordinate multiple assignments, and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.\nHigh attention to detail.\nAbility to quickly learn new information and adapt to changing requirements.\nBDR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
