Find out more at\nwww.TransdevNA.com\nor watch an overview video at\nhttps://youtu.be/ilO5cv0G4mQ\nWe’re Hiring for a Mechanic Technical Support Supervisor in Herndon, VA and Lorton, VA!\nBe a part of helping Connect the people of Fairfax County to where they need to go!\nTransdev is proud to offer:\n$45.00/hour\nAttractive benefits package, including 401(k) with company contribution, medical, dental and vision.\nPaid time off & vacation.\nDUTIES:\nSupports Technicians with complex technical issues\nDiagnose mechanical failures and root cause\nOversite and support of Preventive Maintenance Programs\nAnalyzes technical data and root causes of failures\nDetermines maintenance personnel training needs and coordinates with Trainers\nReviews all road call repair work orders for proper root cause analysis and proper diagnosis\nSupports transition into ZEB’s with strong electronics and high voltage experience\nProvide support to Apprenticeship program\nEnsure diagnostic tools and equipment are updated, calibrated, and licensed\nIdentifies tools and equipment needs\nResearches and stays abreast of new technology, service\nMakes recommendations for Service Bulletins and SOP’s\nDevelops reliability campaigns, oversees implementation and quality of campaigns\nIdentify warrantable failures and trends\nOther duties as\nREQUIREMENTS:\nHigh school diploma or Degree preferred.\nMust have a minimum of 2 years quality inspector\nExperience with quality control techniques such as Six\nExperience with measuring devices such as meters, gauges, computers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.\nBasic math skills, analytic skills, documentation and reporting\nConsiderable knowledge of and ability to use personnel computers and related software (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.).\nDemonstrate ability to identify and understand problems and to determine the appropriate measures it takes to solve problems.\nConsiderable interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.\nExcellent communication skills both written and\nProven attention to detail and organization skills, understanding importance of prioritizing effectively and managing multiple tasks in an environment with ever competing demands.\nKnowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and\nKnowledge of computer systems, technology, software, applications, circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.\nKnowledge of electrical and electronic principles and practices, including power supplies, relays, time and frequency standards, digital logic, integrated circuits, and programmable motor/logic controllers.\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
