If you're driven by complex technical challenges, enjoy working in greenfield environments, and want to help shape foundational infrastructure from day one, this is the place for you.‍What You'll DoArchitect and develop full-stack features for our AI-powered SaaS platformDesign core backend systems, data models, APIs, and infrastructure with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and maintainabilityTranslate business and product goals into clear technical plans and make high-impact design decisions in uncertain contextsBuild frontend components that present complex AI and contract insights in intuitive waysCollaborate closely with the Head of Engineering and product stakeholders to define priorities and execute effectivelyOwn your work end to end, from planning through deployment and monitoringHelp establish engineering best practices and shape team culture as we scaleWhat We're Looking For8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong record of system architecture and technical ownershipDemonstrated ability to design and build complex backend systems or distributed services, particularly in greenfield contextsProficiency with backend technologies like Node.js, Go, or Python, and modern frontend frameworks such as React or TypeScriptFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-codeA product-first mindset that prioritizes business impact alongside technical qualityClear and thoughtful communicator who can explain and defend architectural choicesSelf-motivated and comfortable working in fast-paced, high-trust environments with a high degree of autonomyStrong system design skills, including the ability to reason about architecture tradeoffs and whiteboard distributed systems ‍Nice-to-havesHands-on experience building agentic AI systems or LLM-powered applicationsExperience in legal tech or B2B SaaS(We know true agentic-AI expertise is rare. If you’ve experimented deeply, even on side projects, let’s talk.)‍What You Should KnowThis role is not an entry point into seniority. We're looking for someone who has already operated at a senior or staff level — someone who has led architectural decisions, mentored engineers, and owned systems from concept through scale.
