Handler","description":"Job Description\nThe Material Handler is primarily responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock and other duties as requested or required.\nEssential Duties\nReceive and track items from receipt to production/assembly.\nTrack and document the movement of inventory items through the production process.\nTag and label items to ensure inventory accuracy.\nPick and issue items required for production/assembly.\nPick and prepare all orders for shipment: Box, wrap, and pack the merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards.\nRecord and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items.\nOperate adequate inventory management tools (i.e. forklift, hand truck, etc.).\nEnter data in inventory and logistics software programs.\nPerforms other similar or related duties as required or requested.\nRequirements:\nQualifications\nAbility to operate a fork truck and overhead crane.\nAbility to adapt methods and ideas to attain continuous improvement.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to read, analyze, prioritize, and meet multiple deadlines.\nHands-on experience with inventory and logistics software programs.\nKnowledge of logistics operations and shipping procedures and documents.\nHave a valid driver's license.\nEducation and Experience Requirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n2 years of experience in inventory control or in a warehouse or stockroom\n\nShift: Day\nReq Benefits: Full Benefits\nCompensation:
