Field Mechanic (Pump and Motor Repair)

Job Description Location: Field Work LI and NYC. Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM with overtime opportunities.Pay: $26 - $45/hour (commensurate with direct experience)Benefits: Health insurance (medical, dental, vision), EAP, PTO, paid holidays, 401K, ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan)Power-Flo Technologies' Pump and Motor Repair Shop in New Hyde Park, NY is seeking an experienced Field Mechanic to join our team.Field Mechanic Responsibilities Include :Assess machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issuesLiaise with clients to determine their requirements and communicate defects or problemsProvide routine inspections of equipment and inform clients of any issuesKeep an accurate log of all work performedInstall replacement bearings, seals, shafts, and gasketsReplace and wire electric motorsAdhere to company work safety policiesComplete jobs both in our shop and at job sightsRespond to work orders for troubleshooting, repair and feedback to SupervisorMechanic will be responsible to make emergency repairs within area of knowledge and responsibilityFamiliarity with hand tools, power tools, disassembly, multimeter, etc.Field Mechanic Qualifications :5+ years' experience in pump mechanicsKnowledge of pump systems and electric motorsAbility to work both with a team and independentlyA valid and clean driver's license to operate company vehiclesare an equal opportunity employer.
