The department’s mission is to provide world class Missile Defense and Surveillance Radar Software to be used in radar systems deployed on land and sea. Our software teams employ Agile Scrum and DevSecOps processes to rapidly design, code, and integrate capabilities on a continuous basis into a mature solution for our customers.\n\nThis position is fully onsite in Woburn, MA, and will require travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.\n\nWhat You Will Do\n\nServe as a technical lead within the deployed software team, providing advanced reach-back support to operational AN/TPY-2 radar systems.\n\nLead the installation, integration, and configuration of new radar builds, software updates, and patches onto the AN/TPY-2 radar system, ensuring seamless deployment.\n\nDrive the troubleshooting and resolution of highly complex software and system issues in a Linux environment, working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.\n\nDevelop and execute detailed test plans and procedures to validate new software builds, ensuring they meet system requirements and operational performance standards.\n\nAnalyze system performance data to identify and implement improvements to the software baseline.\n\nMentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight on integration and testing activities.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, including systems, hardware, and cybersecurity specialists, to support the development and deployment of robust radar system solutions.\n\nSupport on-site activities, including deployments, system installations, and troubleshooting, with a focus on maintaining high operational availability.\n\nContribute to the continuous improvement of integration and testing processes, tools, and methodologies.\n\nPrepare and present technical documentation, including test reports, analysis findings, and recommendations, to internal and external stakeholders.\n\nQualifications You Must Have\n\nTypically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.\n\nExperience in software integration, testing, troubleshooting or administration in a Linux-based environment.\n\nExperience with software development and debugging skills using languages such as C++, Python, or similar.\n\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S government issued security clearance prior to the start date.
