We are opening a new campus facility that will have two of our businesses (Marley and Ingenia Technologies) evolving and growing together at SPX's very first campus.What You Can Expect In This Role (Job Responsibilities)While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:Load and unload trucks using a forklift or overhead craneEnsure optimal use of warehouse space and place merchandise in designated locationsReceive goods and verify their accuracy against purchase orders and delivery notesInform the warehouse manager of any discrepancies between the receiving slip and the purchase orderPalletize and pack parts and air handling units for shipment, ensuring adherence to shipping instructionsWrap air handling units using plastic filmLoad ventilation units onto a flatbed truck using an overhead craneWhat We Are Looking For (Required/Ideal Experience, Skills, Education)We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:Required Experience & SkillsHigh school diploma2 to 3 years of warehouse experienceValid forklift operator's license, an assetStrong organizational skills, methodical approach, and ability to work quickly and efficientlyResponsible, self-motivated, and a good team playerValid Class 1 driver's license, an assetKnowledge and practical experience with standard computer applicationsGood physical ability to lift heavy objectsCrane Safety knowledge/experience helpfulTravel & Working EnvironmentManufacturing plant environmentHow We Live Our CultureOur culture is at the center of what we do and, more importantly, who we are.
