This role is mission-critical as the team builds out the local market, with the opportunity to shape and grow operations well beyond current size.ResponsibilitiesManage complex geotechnical and construction materials testing projectsLead geotechnical investigations, scoping, proposals, budgeting, field investigations, lab testing, and analysisDevelop practical geotechnical solutions and author comprehensive reportsBalance technical execution with client engagement (initially ~60/40)Build and maintain client relationships across municipal and K-12 marketsProvide direction and mentorship to junior engineers as the office growsSupport business development, including identifying opportunities and contributing to marketing strategiesRequirementsBS in Civil, Geotechnical, or related engineering (MS preferred)5+ years geotechnical engineering experience (7+ ideal)3+ years practicing in San Antonio marketPE in Texas requiredExperience with municipal/K-12 clients; CMT experience 1-2 yearsStrong technical expertise across earthwork, concrete, analysis, and reportingEntrepreneurial mindset with desire to grow a local officeJobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
