FORTÉ (formerly AVI Systems) is a 100% employee‑owned company with 50+ years of experience and a bold new identity.\n\nWhat You Will be doing:\n\nProvide technical expertise to support the architecture, installation and planning of audio, video and control solutions\n\nCompletes documentation with a high degree of quality and follows Technical Services Standards. Services include CAD drawings (flows, plans, elevations, details), system descriptions, equipment research, selection, custom product design and system integration.\n\nResearch and analyze the capabilities of available hardware and software options\n\nDesign audiovisual systems of various hardware and software components that work together as one integrated system and that meet customer’s specific needs\n\nSupport projects and our team throughout the implementation process.\n\nRequirements to Assure Success:\n\n3+ years of Design Engineering experience is preferred.\n\nPrior experience in the service and installation of audio, video and presentation systems\n\nKnowledgeable of control systems (Crestron, QSC, Extron, AMX) and DSP platforms (Biamp, QSC, Clearone, BSS)\n\nAbility to prepare, understand, and interpret advanced single‑line diagrams, architectural, construction, and electrical drawings\n\nKnowledge of project financial reports, and the ability to control costs in the design and management of projects is essential\n\nAbility to read engineering schematics and communicate design intent\n\nCTS and CTS‑D certifications are a plus but not required with the right experience. Any other industry related certs or training are also a plus.
