You will collaborate with global teams to deliver robust digital solutions that support WTW’s business objectives.\n \nThe Role\n\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable Java applications. \nCollaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions aligned with business requirements. \nLeverage AI-assisted development tools and skills to accelerate coding, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance code quality. \nParticipate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and secure coding standards. \nDevelop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices. \nContribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for automated build and deployment processes to Azure\nTroubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability and performance. Be on call as required to attend incident calls and provide live support.\nMentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.\n\nQualifications\n\nThe Requirements\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. \n5–8 years of experience in Java development \nHands on experience with AI-assisted and AI-native development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, etc.). \n\nStrong proficiency in: \n\nCore Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework\nRESTful APIs and Microservices architecture\nSQL databases\nStrong understanding of SQL (preferably Oracle SQL) is required.\nKnowledge on Angular/React is preferred.\n\nKnowledge of modern development practices: \n\nAgile/Scrum methodologies\nCI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)\nContainerization (Docker, Kubernetes)\n\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred). \nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment. \nExcellent communication skills. \nExposure to security best practices and performance optimization techniques is a plus.\nHealthcare domain knowledge is preferred\n\n \nLocation: Remote Role – Open to anyone residing within the United States\nNote: Employment-based non-immigrant visa sponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this specific job opportunity.\n \nCompensation and Benefits\nBase salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation.
