{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"3b426cdec41699ccae451e86","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/3b426cdec41699ccae451e86","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/3b426cdec41699ccae451e86","title":"Spray Tech","description":"Description\nThe Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.\nJob Summary\n\nThe Spray Applicator measures, mixes, and applies various pesticides and fertilizers to assigned areas.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n\nOperate spray equipment\n\nMeasure mixing agents to create necessary sprays for application\n\nApply various pesticides and fertilizers to maintain areas\n\nEducation and Experience:\n\nExperience with chemical or spray applications\n\nMust work under the direction and supervision of the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent and Agronomic Technician\n\nMaintain a valid Driver's License\n\nStrong attention to detail\n\nOperate efficiently and safely at all times\n\nBilingual (Spanish/English) preferred\n\nAbility to perform other cultural applications on a golf course as needed - assist with aerifications, applying seed to designated areas, sand topdressing applications\n\nPhysical Demands/Requirements:\n\nHeavy lifting up to 50 pounds\n\nBe at least 18 years old (21 if operating company provided vehicles)\n\nPossess strong stamina and have the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.\n\nAble to safely operate landscaping equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers, edgers).\n\nAble to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, stand, walk continuously throughout the day and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.\n\nAble to perform manual labor using a variety of hand tools (e.g. shovels, rakes)\n\nYou are able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (e.g., safety shoes, high-visibility clothing, hand protection, eye protection, hearing protection, head protection)\n\nLandscapers who will be operating a BrightView fleet vehicle are required to have a valid driver's license and meet company standards as it relates motor vehicle performance identified on a state issued motor vehicle record check.\n\nAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if needed.\n\nAbility to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur.\n\nWork Environment:\n\nAbility to work outdoors/indoors in moderate to extreme weather conditions (e.g., temperatures more than 100°F, temperatures below 32°F, various levels of humidity)\n\nAbility to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.\n\nWork outdoors near automotive traffic, bodies of water, fumes, dust, mechanical and/or electrical hazards.\n\nAbility to work in environments where extended periods of loud noise are present.\n\nAbility to work in environments where exposure to allergens such as pollen and rag weed, insects such as bees and spiders and reptiles such as lizards and snakes.\n\nBrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.\n\nThis job description is subject to change at any time.\n\nBrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
