Paid overtime may be available.\n\nJOB SUMMARY\nAs a Electrical Product Engineer in Faribault, MN, you will:\n\nSupport manufacturing‑focused electrical product engineering with an emphasis on product transfers, new product introduction (NPI), and production readiness\n\nDevelop and update electrical schematics, wiring/harness designs, wire‑kit documentation, and manufacturing‑ready BOMs\n\nDrive electrical DFMA improvements, BOM commonization, and design simplification across product lines\n\nPartner closely with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to resolve production issues and ensure smooth factory launches\n\nMaintain accurate engineering documentation, drawings, and change records using electrical CAD and document‑control systems\n\nContribute to the reliability, consistency, and manufacturability of industrial electrical products and electromechanical assemblies\n\nWork collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners\n\nContribute to projects that impact communities in Northfield, Owatonna, Dundas, Medford, Lakeville, Farmington, Waseca, and Lonsdale, and the greater southern Twin Cities metro\n\nApply your skills in a dynamic environment that values ownership and innovation\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\nBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering\n\n5+ years of manufacturing‑focused electrical product engineering experience\n\nProficient with electrical CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar\n\nStrong experience with electrical schematics, wiring/harness design, wire‑kit documentation, and BOM commonization\n\nSkilled in electrical DfMA and design optimization for manufacturability\n\nExperience supporting product transfers, NPI, factory launches, or production issue resolution\n\nBackground in industrial power equipment, control panels, UL‑regulated products, or complex electromechanical assemblies strongly preferred\n\nStrong documentation, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional collaboration skills\n\nSKILLS AND VALUES\n\nCapable of working independently and as a team member\n\nStrong work ethic and unwavering integrity\n\nExcellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset\n\nCuriosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking\n\nEffective verbal and written communication\n\nDesire to work on a variety of projects\n\nADDITIONAL INFORMATION\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
