This firm represents businesses, commercial property owners, developers, investors, and other organizations in a broad range of complex commercial and civil litigation matters. Associates work closely with partners from the outset, receive substantial client interaction, and are encouraged to take ownership of their cases.\nAbout the Role This role involves managing a diverse commercial litigation caseload from inception through resolution.\nResponsibilities Manage a diverse commercial litigation caseload from inception through resolution\nDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents\nConduct legal research and develop case strategy\nParticipate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation\nWork directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and the courts\nAssist with and, when appropriate, take an active role in bench and jury trials\nCollaborate with senior attorneys while progressively assuming greater responsibility for client matters\nDevelop trusted relationships with clients through practical, business-focused legal counsel\nQualifications Juris Doctor from an accredited law school\nActive license to practice law in Texas\nApproximately 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience\nStrong organizational abilities with experience managing multiple litigation matters simultaneously.\nExcellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.\nExperience handling business disputes, contract litigation, commercial real estate litigation, construction litigation, or other complex civil litigation matters\nExperience preparing for trial and participating in hearings, depositions, mediations, or trial proceedings\nExcellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills\nStrong organizational abilities with experience managing multiple litigation matters simultaneously\nDesire to continue developing as a trial attorney within a collaborative environment\nPay range and compensation package Competitive base salary commensurate with experience. Performance-based bonus opportunities. Additional incentive compensation for originating new client relationships. Reasonable billable expectation of approximately 150 billable hours per month. Comprehensive benefits package including 401k employer contributions.
