Line Cook/Prep Cook

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, particularly in a fine dining environment, and possess strong skills in food safety and handling. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and development to enhance the dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely service during peak hours. Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements. Help train new kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and kitchen procedures. Skills Strong background in food service, particularly within a fine dining setting. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed. Experience or familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
