This fully United States based remote position operates Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM ET.\nResponsibilities:\nIdentify and streamline improvements to enhance team efficiency.\nRecommend process improvements for documents, presentations, and SOPs.\nSupport fast turnaround data requests and understand the requirements.\nSupport change management strategies for program objectives.\nAssist in identifying and managing risks and issues impacting ICT objectives.\nUnderstand stakeholder needs and expectations.\nCommunicate clearly with team members, stakeholders, and participants.\nPrioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.\nManage action items and follow up to ensure resolution.\nProduce weekly deliverables and submit them on time.\nGenerate and present performance reports to leadership.\nMaintain comprehensive documentation of program activities and decisions, capture and monitor action items, producing and communicating meeting minutes.\nAssist teams in defining and achieving goals.\nEnsure that program objectives are aligned with organizational goals and track progress using OKRs and KPIs.\nCoordinate between teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of OKRs and KPIs, fostering a collaborative environment.\nCollect, analyze, and report on performance data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.\nManage group dynamics and resolve conflicts.\nAssist in planning and organizing events, conferences, and meetings.\nHandle conference packages from initiation to close out\nCreate and maintain event schedules, timelines, and agendas.\nPromote events through Teams and email campaigns.\nHandle attendee registration and communications.\nOversee event setup, execution, and breakdown.\nTake the lead on small projects.\nStore official program data, documents, and artifacts per VA directives.\nQualifications:\nRequired Skills and Experience\nBachelor's degree in business administration, business management, computer science, information systems, operations, research, or related fields. Certifications in relevant UX Software plus 3-5 years of relevant experience or 5-7 years of additional experience may be substituted for education.\nDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.\nEffective time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.\nStrong analytical skills for process evaluation and improvement.\nExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.\nProficient in risk management and issue resolution.\nSkilled at identifying client challenges and crafting strong solutions.\nExperienced in strategic planning and execution.\nCapable of managing multiple research requests and multitasking.\nTeam player with strong relationship-building skills.\nCollaborative with team leaders and subject matter experts.\nProven facilitator and content creator.\nEffective at managing group dynamics and fostering an inclusive environment.\nExcellent written and oral communication skills.\nComfortable presenting to diverse audiences.\nAdvanced presentation skills for senior executives.\nAble to work independently with minimal supervision.\nProficient with MS Office Suite, MS Teams, and workflow management.\nExperienced with IT-related projects.\nMust be a US citizen.\nPreferred Skills and Experience:\nExperience with Veterans Affairs or other government agencies.\nPMP, Scrum Master, and/or other Agile/SAFe certifications, Change Management Certification\nStrong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills for assessing process effectiveness.\nProficiency in life cycle and project management methodologies.\nFamiliarity with VA-centric applications like GitHub, JIRA, and ServiceNow.\nClearance: Must be able to obtain/maintain Suitability/Public Trust clearance.\nCompany Overview:\nGovCIO is a team of transformers-people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
