requirements.\r\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Serve as the primary technical support point of contact for assigned personnel at Stennis Space Center.\r\nTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, account access, printer, audiovisual, peripheral, and network-related issues.\r\nSupport installation, configuration, maintenance, and sustainment of end-user devices and local IT systems.\r\nAssist users with collaboration platforms, conference room technologies, video teleconferencing systems, and shared communication tools.\r\nPerform routine system updates, equipment checks, software installations, and preventative maintenance activities.\r\nMaintain accurate records of IT assets, communications equipment inventory, configuration items, and support activities.\r\nSupport setup, configuration, testing, and sustainment of tactical communications systems and edge networking capabilities.\r\nConfigure and maintain SATCOM terminals, tactical radios, mesh radio systems, tactical data links, edge networking devices, and related communications equipment.\r\nConduct communications checks and operational testing to ensure readiness and interoperability of supported systems.\r\nAssist with deployment and recovery of tactical communications equipment for exercises, testing, and operational events.\r\nSupport temporary network establishment and edge node configuration in field or operational environments.\r\nProvide on-site troubleshooting and technical support during training exercises, demonstrations, and mission operations.\r\nSupport planning and execution of exercises, operational events, and testing activities requiring IT and tactical communications integration.\r\nCoordinate setup and configuration of temporary communications infrastructure and user support services.\r\nConduct post-event equipment recovery, reconfiguration, inventory validation, and operational reset activities.\r\nEnsure all support activities comply with applicable Government, NASA, installation, cybersecurity, communications security (COMSEC), RF spectrum, and facility requirements.\r\nMaintain support documentation, equipment inventories, troubleshooting records, and operational status reports.\r\nAssist with tracking system configurations, maintenance schedules, and lifecycle management activities.\r\nUp to 30% of travel is expected for this role, including overnight and out-of-state as required to support operations, customer engagements, or company initiatives.\r\nQUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 5–10 years of experience supporting IT systems, tactical communications systems, or operational networking environments.\r\nExperience supporting government, defense, or military programs, preferred.\r\nExperience troubleshooting computer hardware, software, networking, and communications equipment.\r\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, user account management, and basic network troubleshooting.\r\nAbility to configure and support audiovisual and collaboration systems.\r\nStrong problem-solving, organizational, and customer support skills.\r\nAbility to work independently and in operational or field environments.\r\nActive Secret security clearance required or higher.\r\nFamiliarity with RF spectrum coordination and communications security (COMSEC) procedures.\r\nKnowledge of cybersecurity compliance requirements and operational network security practices.\r\nRelevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent
